English Language Requirements

ELPT required for all students without a British passport except in the following circumstances;

1. Any academic based credits passed where study was English at Level 2 or above please see below:

a. Level 2 academic qualification, example: GCSE English/Functional Skills Level 2 – no ELPT

required unless requested at the point of interview by academic.

b. Level 2 vocational qualification – ELPT required.

2. Any Ofqual recognised academic based credits passed where the study was in English at Level 3 or

above.
